Dragon Heart 1

Chapter One

Brandon laid face down on the grassy plain surrounded by trees, with both hands bounded to his back, by a red dragon who wore the same armour as the dragon that entered the Dragon Rave club, holding his right feet on his hands, making sure he wouldn't move.
The other one, a green dragon same armour held a blade to Brandon's neck. Brandon green eyes darted around, he glared at both dragon, only to get the dragon foot to push even more down.
He tried to cry out, but nothing did, when he looked up, he could see Minda being lifted by let other dragon by the neck.
Brandon could see their lips moving, but he could hear a word they said, the yellow dragon, held a blade to her, just above the head, he brought it behind his head.
He was going to behead her!
Brandon felt something in him he never did before, a power that he had not felt. His blood boiled in his body, his eyes turned from a dark green, to a deep blue.
He began to move, the red dragon tried to push him back down, but Brandon grabbed his foot, and threw him to a nearby tree.
He glared at the other one, who ran when he saw his comrade on the ground. Now at last he turned to his one true enemy, the yellow dragon smiled at him, showing his row of sharp teeth, and his scar above his eye seem to move as he did.
Brandon looked down at Minda, his wife, she spat out blood as she spat onto the ground. He then charged at the unknown dragon, his body full with the pure energy to help save his love, but when he brought his arm out, a human arm was not there, but a blue dragon's arm.

Brandon eyes shot open, he was breathing hard, his body full of sweat. This was the first time he ever had a dream like this, and it scared the crap out of him.
He was about to move when a thought crossed his mind, had he really asked Minda to merry him? He got his answer when her wing went over him, coving almost his whole body.
He smiled, yup it was no dream, he was now wedded to a Wyvern, and not just any Wyvern, but a princess. But that didn't matter to him, he love her even if she was poor, or crazy.
He chuckled to himself as she pulled him closer to him, he had to get away form her just for a second so he could make same food for them.
He pulled a pillow form his head, and gentle moved her wing, so when he moved, he place the pillow where he use to be. Minda grabbed the pillow, holding it tightly, before leaving, Brandon bended down and gave her a kiss on the forehead.
She smiled in her sleep as she flapped over to the other side, drifting back to her sleep.

Brandon yawned as he made his way to the bathroom, he flicked the light on, hating the sting it left him after being in the dark for so long.
When his eyes did revert back, he saw himself in the mirror, he looked the same like any other day, but with a new change, his dragon ear and tail were gone. Only his human ears sat where his ears use to be.
This didn't come to a shock for Brandon, before, his ears and tail would also disappear, and come back longer. "Ah well," he said out loud as he washed his face, "they'll come back in a few weeks."
after freshen up he went to the kitchen, getting a lot of bacon, and eggs finding the pots, he began to cook. After almost finished, he felt two wings wrap around him, and a snot to his cheek.
"You know,"
she said after giving her husband a kiss,
"I'll never get use of human males cooking."
Brandon laughed as he brought the food to her on a plate, sitting next to her, as he did, Minda tail found its way up to his arm and pulled hum closer to her body.
"You never get tired at doing that do you?"
asked Brandon taking a bite of eggs, Minda shook her head, "nope,"
she smiled as she pulled him into a hug,
"You mine living teddy bear."
Brandon laughed some more at hearing this.
"Oh?" he asked as he playfully shoved her off, "is that all I am?" Minda shook her head, and brought her tail, to find his, but couldn't find it. After looking behind him, she could see that he had no tail, and she also found that he didn't have his ears.
"Brandon!?"
Brandon faced her, with confusing on his face,
"What happened to your tail and ears!?"
Brandon smiled then burst into laugher, almost falling off his chair.
"What so funny?" she asked standing up and putting her wings to her hip, Brandon regain his strength then hugged Minda.
"Don't worry," he said pulling her closer, "they'll come back.

"Brandon, there are some stuff you need to know about my world."
both Minda and Brandon sat on top of his roof, staring at the clouds as they moved a crossed the blue sky.
"Oh really?" answered Brandon, "like what?"
Minda looked away, this really was hurting her,
"we can't tell anyone there about us." she pointed at both herself and him, "they think of humans as a nuisance, and they think that cross species are forbidden." she hung her head low as she said this. "they won't try to kill you if you walk around our world but,"
she stopped then looked away,
"they'll kill me if they find out."
Minda slowly nodded her head, "but if father agrees with us, then we can let everyone know about us." Brandon looked at her, seeing that she half smiled, he smiled back.
"Well,"
he said getting up, "two things need to be done." he stood up and flexed his arms, "One, I need to get a weapon," he looked down at his hands, showing them to Minda, "Because I don't think this will do any good." Minda stood with him,
"well I know a good place in the Lore that we can go,"
Brandon thought that must have been what her kingdom was called,
"he can make blade that will never break or dull."
Brandon nodded his head,
"well that good."
Minda nodded with him, "and what the other one?" he looked up, "well how are we going to get to Lore?"
Minda got up and walked over to Brandon, while taking off her necklace.
"This is how."
the necklace began to glow a light red, Brandon stood back, Minda closed her eyes, pulling the necklace away form her, her mouth moved, but nothing could be heard.
Sudden a bright light shot form the jewellery, Brandon had to cover his eyes as it almost blinded him. When he dared open his eyes, there in front of his eyes, was a blue ripple.

Brandon slowly went up to the portal, touching it. It rippled under his fingertips, what looked like water dripped down his fingertips to his arms.
"Hey! You coming!?"
Minda head shot out of the portal, Brandon, screaming, falling backwards and landing on his ass. Minda laughed as she saw Brandon grumble,
"Well come on!"
she disappeared back in, Brandon slowly made his way back in, stepping in. as he did, the portal pulled him though, he felt like something was pushing him all around, but as he neared the end, everything was quiet.
Minda stood over him, and helped him up.
"Brandon."
she said holding her wing out around her,
"welcome to Lore, the center of the Dragon Realm."
